Arianna has been interested in Veterinary Dentistry for years and has recently commenced her Residency programme for the European Veterinary Dental College. This is a highly intensive and detailed course, together with challenging examinations. On completion Arianna would also be qualified as a Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry.
Nurse Manager - RVN
Laura is a highly experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse. Laura previously worked with Bob for nearly eight years at OakBeck Veterinary Hospital in Harrogate, going through her Nurse Training and progressing to the role of Senior Nurse. After Bob sold the business Laura progressed to a senior regional managerial role before leaving to start her family.
Laura has come back to work with Bob part-time, helping to provide both nursing support and administrative assistance as the business grows.
Rosie also first met Bob when working at OakBeck Veterinary Hospital and undergoing training to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse. After Bob sold the business Rosie left to work in a number of practices as a locum, helping to spread her knowledge of dental nursing across a wider range of veterinary practices. Rosie is deeply interested in caring for our native wildlife and volunteers at a local animal sanctuary.
Rosie provides the main nursing support to the practice. Her experience in effective, safe, caring and compassionate animal handling (based on her training with Bob at OakBeck) is a great boon to the practice.
Animal Care Assistant
Emily came to know VetDentist through working with Rosie at the animal sanctuary. Although she has only recently joined VetDentist she is learning quickly the skills needed - made all the easier by being founded upon her dedication to wanting to care for patients the best way possible. She is also benefitting from the excellent training by Rosie and Laura (based on the model used for many years by Bob in his previouus practices).
Emily hopes to progress towards Registered Veterinary Nurse training. We'd love to be able to help her on this journey, but with our focussed work-load we know she will need to join a "regular" first opinion practice at some stage, but in the meantime we are delighted to have her as part of our team.
