Lottie our 10 1/2 year old Labrador was referred to Bob Partridge at Harrogate Pet Dental Hospital. This was due to the complex nature of Lottie’s requirements for her dental care.
On the same day that Lottie saw our own vet, she sent a referral and we got a call that day from the dental hospital to arrange for a suitable date for Lottie’s appointment. We were made aware that she would be there from 9.30am to possibly 7pm in the evening and informed of the way the day would go.
On the day of the appointment, we rang up and I was advised to go in with Lottie to see Bob. She had her consultation; I was advised of the plan for Lottie and the estimated cost and consent was duly signed.
We got a call at lunchtime from the nurse to advise us of the CT scan findings and what treatment was required. We got a call later on in the day again from the nurse advising us that Lottie was fine and we were advised to collect her about 7pm
Whilst we were waiting to collect her, the nurse came out 3 times to apologise to us as Bob was still operating on another dog as Lottie’s surgery had unexpectedly overrun as she was under anaesthetic for over 4 hours due to her complex dental surgery.
When Bob had completed all his surgery, both my husband and myself were invited into see Lottie’s CT scan and all her images. Bob explained everything extremely clearly and we have since received copies emails with all images and full explanation of the surgery that were sent to our own vet.
Even at that late hour, the nurses had stayed behind and were still cleaning up.
We cannot complement all the staff enough. They were awesome and extremely professional.

Lottie will be back in a month for further surgery as there was not enough time to do everything on one day.
